Mermaid Tails!
I created this cute Mermaid card with a blank white 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" by Paper Accents and added a layer of www.cosmocricket.com Salt Air Fish tales paper. Punched a scalloped circle from www.bazzillbasics.com card stock layed with a white card stock circle stamped with a mermaid stamp I got from www.rubberstampave.com (which I have ordered to carry in my store) and I colored the image with my Marvy Le Plume markers www.uchida.com added a little stickles from Ranger and a few www.kaisercraft.com pearls.
Of course we have all these supplies and lots more at the store www.papermermaids.com

This is a sweet altered birdhouse I made for my brother to give as a Valentines Day gift. I used the Bo Bunny Crush paper line and lots of goodies to dress it up and placed it on a glass candle stick perch!

Paper Shoe
Today was my first attempt to make a Marie Antoinette shoe. Saw several tutorials on you tube. I used SEI paper because it looked so elegant and a vintage button.
I'm planning on making some more with a little more bling!

Love Birds
This giant wooden clothespin was decorated with the Bo Bunny "Crush" paper line. It stands almost a foot tall and holds a picture of "2 sweet love birds" at the top. This picture was taken as an engagement photo for my son's high school friend Matt and his lovely now bride.
What a sweet couple!

It's a new year of memories!
Here is a cute desk top 4x6" calendar I designed for a January class at my store Paper Mermaids. So much fun to create and a special photo to enjoy each month for a year:
This is so much fun to make and a new picture to make you smile every month.

Happy New Year!
I have been blessed this year with the opportunity to purchase our local scrapbooking store that was at risk of closure. I have made many new friends, have had many great laughs and have helped many have success with their own creations. It has been a great year! Thinking about the New Year brought about some ideas for a new project (one of many actually) which I will share today:
I used a large paper mache cone, covered it with Queen & Co. paper from there Formal line, added a chipboard clock face from Unique pages, some flowers cut with my Sizzix die and Big shot, lots of Melissa Frances glass glitter, some wired tinsel ribbon and ribbon ties.
Thank you all for your support this past year.
I wish you all a wonderful New Year!
